My wife, Audrey and I have just come back from a fantastic trip to Switzerland. We went to collect the remaining paintings from my exhibition at the Thomas Dutoit gallery. We stayed a couple of extra nights to research the amazing scenery Switzerland has to offer. We travelled around Grindelwald and stayed with family for the evening. Grindewald has spectactular views over the Eiger. The next day we went on to Lauterbuunen and Adelboden with Rene Brogli. Rene is the President of the Bromer Art Collection. Rene very kindly invited us to stay at his beautiful hotels: Hotel Steinmattli in Adelboden which had fabulous views over the mountains and Baren Durrenroth a wonderful, historic and romantic hotel in the Emmental Region. The weather was fantastic as it had snowed the night before we arrived and the skies were crystal clear for the three days we stayed. I am looking forward to making a new set of paintings for the Bromer Art Foundation about the Swiss mountains.
